Uisce everywhere

Harris Hawk, Uisce

There is a hawk called Uisce and as you can see from this photo he is drenched in water as it bloody rained all day today. I took him for his daily exercise and the poor thing could barely fly! His name actually means "water" in Gaelic, but the waterproofing oil on his feathers is so thin hat it no longer repels water. After a few flights in the rain he landed on the ground and demanded to be carried back.

I love how helpless he looks, he is so cute.

Yep, the weather forecast for the next couple of days is not looking good...
