Fáinleog
Fáinleog
A gorgeous summer accessory that can be worn in many ways – wrapped around the neck as a cozy cowl, or worn as a luxurious light summer wrap. It’s quick and fun to knit, and you can design your own colour palette using the blank chart and perhaps create your own favourite bird-inspired wrap.

About the pattern
Fáinleog is Irish for swallow. Swallows arrive in Ireland in April, having travelled thousands of miles from Africa. Every year I am impatient to see their busy silhouettes in the skies and when they suddenly appear, I know for sure – summer is almost here.
